A Beer and Lunch at Bob Hawke's Brewery - Thu 22 Oct 2026

While the ladies were shopping, 15 members took one for the country and enjoyed a refreshing ale (or Hawke’s Lager) at Bob Hawkes Brewery in Sydenham.

As well as beer and great conversation, members enjoyed the Chinese restaurant within the brewery, which provided a delicious and well-priced lunch. Hawke’s Brewery also has a brilliant collection of memorabilia of the Bob Hawke years as Prime Minister.

The brewery was only a short walk from Sydenham Station.
