Life of Riley Tour 22 Feb 2026

Published Sat 28 Feb 2026

The ‘Life of Riley’ tour was based in Jindabyne for 5 nights and toured much of the Snowy Mountains and Monaro Plains region of the state and encompassed a wide variety of activities for the 41 participants.

Day 1 in Jindabyne was packed with a visit to the Jindabyne Visitor Centre to orient everyone before heading to Thredbo to ride the chairlift and gondola to the top for great views of the Snowy Mountains in summer. A visit to Wildbrumby schnapps distillery, via Deadhorse Gap, Crackenback chalet and the Skitube station, completed the day.

Days 2, 3 and 4 were just as busy with visits including the trout hatchery, Cooma Gaol museum, Raglan House art gallery, Adaminaby township and the Snowy Mountains Authority to explain the workings of the whole scheme.

A great 6 days for all and a big ‘Thank You’ to Keri for all of the organisation.
